Join the International Open Data Day on Saturday, March 5th!
Saturday, March 5th is the International Open Data Day! This global initiative was established by the Open Knowledge Foundation and has been celebrated since 2010 with great participation.
Within the framework of important high-level initiatives implemented in our country for the provision of open data by public organizations and enterprises, as a driver for entrepreneurship development and for the benefit of society, we consider participation in the International Open Data Day and by all domestic open data supporters to be important!

The events include activities such as talks, seminars, demonstrations, hackathons, educational activities, or key announcements in the field of open data. At the same time, the annual themes reflect current priorities, such as the use of open data to combat the Covid-19 pandemic in 2021.
This year, Open Data Day 2022 focuses on the use of open data to solve problems in the following thematic areas:
- Environmental Data
- Tracking Public Money Flows
- Open Mapping
- Data for Equitable Development
- Ocean Data for a Thriving Planet

Participation is encouraged for everyone involved in the growing global open data community, as well as for those who simply want to learn about open data. This includes professionals from public or private organizations that provide open data, individuals with ideas on how to use it, those looking for interesting projects to contribute to, people wishing to gain skills in data visualization and analysis, and anyone who simply finds the topic intriguing!
